TUSB522P: What does RX termination mean ?

Part Number: TUSB522P

Hi Sir.

I have two related questions.

They are just to make sure.

Mr.David said before

"Other device will not detect the TUSB522P RX termination since it is in shutdown mode and the RX termination is in High-Z state.".

Also when there is no power supply, other device will not detect the TUSB522P RX termination, right?

I think above because the datasheet says,

”The TUSB522P advanced state machine makes it transparent to hosts and devices. After power up, the
TUSB522P periodically performs receiver detection on the TX pairs. If it detects a USB3.1 GEN1 receiver, the
RX termination is enabled, and the TUSB522P is ready to re-drive.”

"RX termination is enabld." means that both R(RX-DIFF-DC) and R(RX-CM-DC) are enabled at the same time, right?

Best regards,

Hiroaki
