hello expert:

now my board used the SN65DSI84 , as we know the SN65DSI83 is compatible with DSi84 at hardware , i want to know is there any difference at the register configuration at software side ?

    Hey Zongtao,

    There is no difference in the register configuration o the software side, but it is important to note that the SN65DSI84 has two channels, and the SN65DSI83 only has one channel. So any programming done on the SN65DSI83 will work on the SN65DSI84, but some programming done on the SN65DSI84 will NOT work on the SN65DSI83 due to hardware differences.
