Hi Support Team,

In the data sheet, in section 7.4.19 CSI-2 Transmit Frequency,

it says 1.2 Gbps (not available on prototype), does this mean that 1.2 Gbps is not available?

Hello Takahiro-san,

this sentence is a legacy from the prototype data sheet. So, it is not anymore valid for the mass-produced devices.

Thank you for your response.

We found that 1.2 Gbps is available.

According to 7.4.19 CSI-2 Transmitter Frequency, when 800Mbps or 1.6Gbps is set, CSI-2 timing parameters are automatically set based on CSI_PLL_CTL 0x1F register.
Is it correct to assume that 1.2Gbps is also applied?

Can you tell me if there are any other precautions when using 1.2 Gbps?

Hello,

As I said, that sentence is not valid for the released product. So, 1.2Gbps is a valid setting for this device and should work without any limitations.
