TSER953: About Mipi data rate (per CSI-2 lane)

Part Number: TSER953

Hi Support Team,

According to Table 7-7, Clocking Modes, CSI BANDWIDTH varies depending on REF FREQUENCY(f),

but I think that Mipi data rate (per CSI-2 lane) will not change from MAX832Mbps even if REF FREQUENCY(f) varies.

Is this correct?

Best regards,

  • Hello Higuchi,

Thank you for your question! The CSI-2 per lane MIPI data rate of 832 Mbps is the limit when using a 26 MHz oscillator. Using the Table 7-7 in clocking modes, the CSI bandwidth is designed as Ref Frequency * 128. The limit per lane is then calculated by dividing total CSI bandwidth by four for the four input CSI-2 data lanes.

Please let me know if there are any additional questions.

    Best,

    Zoe
