    1. PCI Express uses point-to-point connections. Each port can drive only one other port. However, the ports of a switch are independent.

    2. The XIO3130 itself should be able to support this. But the software/firmware on the host must be able to configure the address ranges of all the subordinate buses correctly; check with a bunch of XIO3130EVM‍s and PCIe x1 cables first.
