Hi Brian,
Thank you for your reply.
Actually, the customer'd like to know how to use OTP ROM.
Could you please provide a kind of materials, application note or something.
I appreciate your great help and cooperation.
Best regards,
Shinichi
Shinichi:
OTP is one time efuse process, let me find out what material we have.
Best
Brian
Shinichi:
This is how OTP works in Efuse mode:
Efuse mode is used to control the implemented C021 fuse-farm controller. Once the device enters this mode, the fuse-farm controller’s JTAG interface is connected to the JTAG interface I/O pins. The Fuse ROM can be programmed and debugged in this mode,
The TUSB8041 includes a fuse ROM bank supporting die ID, UUID, and PHY macro trim requirements, port disable, custom port de-emphasis, swing, and other feature configuration control bits. The fuse ROM map is identified in the eFuse ROM spreadsheet. The fuse ROM address locations are subject to change based on the DFT implementation.
Is this information helpful? Normally OTP is done by TI , not by customer.
Regards
Brian
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your reply.
Did you wrongly write TUSB8041? Does it mean TUSB4041?
Is efuse mode conducted by TI factory?
If so, I don't think this is what the customer wants to know.
Could you please let me know what information is in the OTP ROM and how to access it.
I appreciate your great help and cooperation.
Best regards,
Shinichi
