Hello TI  expert,

I would like ask whether TI has solution to enable terminal resistors of  CAN BUS to match vehicle? In my application the battery voltage up to 40V , I am not sure whether we need consider the worst case what bus short to battery before we select a suitable switch. please consider all relevant worst cases.

    User,

    Please see the TI Design for CAN selectable termination here. There are two options here using FETs or an optocoupler. The components used for the FET design are with Automotive applications in mind, so they should hold up to the case of a battery short + load dump.
