SN55HVD75-EP: Rad Hard tolerant RS485

Hello,

I would like to know if this component is rad hard tolerant ( it seems yes with EP extension), do you have more informations/documentations about the value of rad resistant (gray) ?

Hi Bruno,

The SN55HVD75-EP is not rad tolerant - the reliability report (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slok012) doesn't mention anything on rad tolerance for this device and neither does the datasheet.

Generally for rad tolerant devices you need to look for space rated devices - which can be found here: https://www.ti.com/interface/rs-485-rs-422/products.html#1498=Space&sort=1498;asc&

But the only space rated RS-485 that even comes close to this device is the DS16F95QML-SP
