Is the product Compatible with HDMI1.4 (not HDMI1.4b)?

Paragraph 6.5 mentions the supply current for TMDS 6Gbps per channel at retimer mode.

(The closest data rate to 2.5Gbps per channel).

Is there a reason that you are not considering the use of TMDS171 instead?

The TMDS171 is a 3.4-Gbps HDMI 1.4b TMDS retimer.
