Output load is shown to be 5 ohms so a 45-ohm series resistor should help with reflections?

Hello Michael,
It's not necessary to add series resistors on the output of the LVDS driver. The output characteristic impedance should match the differential load. In other words, if using a 100 Ω load, then each output trace should be 50 Ω. See image below.
