My customer considers blocking DoS Attack on their system with DP83867IR. Does DP83867IR has any feature to block DoS Attack? Could you please let us know?

No. A PHY transceiver works on the electrical level and does not care about the content of the packages.

Any filtering would be done by the Ethernet controller that is connected to the other end of the *MII interface.

Clemens-san,

Does DP83867 have any useful registers to block Dos Attack? For example, Set bit when many receive frames are coming, Set bit when internal FIFO is full etc. Any information is welcome. Please advise us.

Hattori-san,

As Ethernet PHY is responsible for Physical layer, it just converts the analog signals and send to digital interface. Frames filtering has to be handled by the SoC or any controller connected to the PHY on MII interface.
