I'm trying to interface the evaluation board with a dp83td510e PHY in a custom PCB. I've configured the evaluation board with the board using the "board setup guide" in the DP83TD510E-EVM User’s Guide, and currently I can use the USB 2 MDIO tool for accessing both PHY's on the evaluation board. The issue that I'm facing right now is that the link status led in the ethernet jack or the LED0, LED1 is not showing any link activity. The board is not detecting in the PC network settings as a wired network, and checking Basic Mode Status Registers of both PHYs on the evaluation board gives the Link Status bit as 0.
Is there any other configuration to be performed to establish a link with the evaluation board and the PC. (note: I've checked the link status with the SPE connector connected to output of the custom PCB, and also without it and the link is always down). I'm assuming that there should be a successful link between the dp83822i and PC, even if the link to SPE connector is down.
