AM26LS33A: AM26LS33ACD

looking for a replacement part for M26LS33ACD, as its going obsolete,

what does the TI recommend for a similar or a replacement part?

    Hi Bryan,

    So the closest device is going to be the AM26LS32A - but its not a direct match as the AM26LS33A is a unique device that has a much larger positive and negative going thresholds and a larger hysteresis window. If you don't need the +/-500mV  thresholds there is no alternate part that will work - if you don't need that and can use +/-200mV thresholds the AM26LS32A should be okay to use.

    thank you sir,, please correct me, when I looked up AM26LS33ACD, (as we were hoping for a drop-in replacement) there may have been a lifetime buy on that part as well, if I am in error, can we get some samples to try in our design.

    Hi Bryan,

    Actually I apologize - it seems I made a mistake. I thought we were completely getting rid of the AM26LS33AC - but it doesn't seem we are. The AM26LS33ACDR (its the same device you are using - but it comes in a reel instead of cut tape) is still active and you should be able to order. 

    It does look like we have the AM26LS33ACD on Last Time Buy though so you should be able to organize a final LTB on the current device you are using as well. Please reach out to your sale contact for information on how to proceed with that (you may also be able to do it through the TI.com storefront) as that is probably the best option to continue using the same OPN - but switching to the reel'd version wouldn't affect performance as it is the same device.
