TUSB7340: Writing to PORTx_DIS

Part Number: TUSB7340

Team,

The TUSB7340 looks like it can individually disable ports via bits for PORTx_DIS. Is that a “write-once” bit? Can it be set by BIOS and not be rewritable by OS when BIOS hands off control to OS? Could you help provide more detail on this one?

If we use an external EEPROM, can BIOS control or reflash that?

Thanks,

Jexy Liew
