TCA9539: Trying to generate PWM, how to switch to Fast-mode (400 KHz)

Hello,

I'm trying to generate PWM switching signals on the GPIOS to operate GATE Driver MOSFETs to operate a motor, but the output frequency was too low.

Only TCA9539 is present on the i2c bus and at any given time only 29bits of data is being written as per the i2c write byte data protocol, that should equate to >13KHz frequency as per 400KHz. 

The provided reference manual doesn't specify how to program the TCA9539 to operate in Fast-mode. 

Please provide a method to turn on the Fast-mode i2c communcation.
