Hi TI Team,

I am Abhishek, working as Hardware Design Engineer in Schneider electric. 

We want to simulate the bus fault conditions on CAN Transceiver Part# TCAN1044V using PSPICE tool. So I request you to please share the PSPICE model of the part.

    Abhishek,

    The only SPICE model for a CAN transceiver we have available is for the TCAN1042-Q1. We are currently in the process of creating our own PSPICE models for CAN transceivers, but there is not a concrete timeline yet as this is not a priority at the moment for our team.

    Thank you for the reply.

    The transient model of TCAN1042-Q1 is a Tina Based Simulation model. Can you share the .olb or .lib files, so that we can simulate in Cadence PSPICE tool. 

    As TCAN1042-Q1 is already modelled, so I request you to kindly support on developing model for TCAN1044V. 

    Also i would like to know what the bus fault are conditions that need to be considered when designing a CAN-FD product.
