Hi expert,

We used 954 and 953 Serser in our design.

And now sometime the SOC printed that the Deserialzier cannnot grap camera signal.

So how could could I compensate theinsertion and return losscharacteristics of the channel in AEQ adaption operation?

Hello Ryan,

the AEQ is automatically running and adjusting the insertion loss, you do not need to change anything in the settings.

Return loss issues can't be compensated by the AEQ.

Can you provide register dump from all DES registers in good case and from a bad case?

The Des-954 is configured by third party.

How can I get the register dump from the Des, by the USB2ANY?

Hi Ryan,

Do you have access to the local I2C bus for the 954? if not, you may get register dump over the back channel using the SER I2C bus.

Why do you believe this is an insertion loss and return loss issue?
