What is behavior of SN65HVD10DRG4 receiver under the following conditions?

B open-circuit

B shorted to power

B shorted to ground

    Richard,

    Thanks for posting! The receiver detects the differential between A and B, so it depends on the behavior of the other pin.

    If an open-circuit bus condition occurs, then output R will be a logic high.

    See Table 9-2 in the data sheet for more information.
