DS90UB635-Q1: Difference between 635 & 935 and 638 &936.

Part Number: DS90UB635-Q1

Hi team,

Could you please kindly help check the dfference between 635 & 935 and 638 & 936?

Do they have the same function like GPIO simulate I2S for 935 and AEQ functions?

And could you please kindly give a demo config for below application?

Thanks,

Brian

  • Hi Brian,

Thank you for your question. All DS90UB6xx devices are part of our low-cost portfolio. These devices are similar to the DS90UB9xx devices, but with some narrower specs. Additionally, DS90UB6xx devices are only compatible with other DS90UB6xx devices. The basic functions like adaptive equalization and GPIOs will be the same across both the DS90ub6xx and DS90UB9xx portfolios. For specific specifications/features, you can refer to the devices individual datasheets.

Do you have any specific requirements that need to be configured for this setup? The DS90UB635 and DS90UB638 devices do not require an initialization script to achieve lock and operate. Registers can be programmed for specific features or behaviors, but for a general setup these devices don't need special programming.

    Regards,
    Darrah
