The topology shown above is looking to be implemented. Are there any issues that arise when some ports support one speed and the others support another on the same HUB (2x HS and 2x FS in this case?)

The downstream devices will be streaming ~12kbps all the way up to 3000kbps or so. If the 12Mbps bandwidth of USB FS is to be shared between 6 devices downstream, are there any potential issues with limited speeds as well (if they really are streaming ~3000kbps.)

Please let me know if you have any other concerns with the topology as well.

The topology you shown above is reasonable. Hub device can go for 5 tiers with max 127 devices supported.

Hi Brian,

Thank you for the quick response. It looks like TUSB4041 has an EVM that allows it to connect to downstream USB HUBs (TUSB4041PAPEVM), but the TUSB2077 does not have an EVM. Is there another device, that DOES have an EVM, that we can use in this place that will perform identically to the TUSB2077? I am looking to actually implement and test this topology with a dev board.
