HI,

In our current design we use an e-prom for the USB VID and the PID.

As somebody forgot to program the device(ee-prom) it is giving FFFF:FFFF back.

So far I understand the problem, but when I remove the e-prom and all the connections to EEData and EECLK I get 0000:0000 back.

I would expect that I would get the default vendor and product ID.

Do I need to make another adjustment on the hardware?

Hello Jeffrey,

You need to pull high terminal ~EXTMEM in order to disable the external EEPROM.

If you already did that then can you share your schematics?. Which OS are you using? Which host controller are you using?

This seems to be the problem, as it is currently set to ground.

I will let the hardware engineer make a patch.

The patch works and I now see 2 hubs connected.

The only problem I now have under debian linux is that no matter what I try the second hub is never confiugred correctly.

Is this a know problem, if so how do I work around it?

Please clarify what do you mean by " two hubs".

Also, check your reset timing, the reset signal that goes to the ~RESET pin on TUSB2077A must be between 100us and 1ms, we recommend it to be close to 1ms.
