DS90UB949-Q1EVM: DS90UB949-Q1EVM: HDMI input signal not recognized

Part Number: DS90UB949-Q1EVM

Hi E2E Team,

We are using the DS90UB949-Q1EVM for the automotive display application. When feeding HDMI input to the EVM board and the other side DS90UB948 with display is connected, but no picture on screen. If the same HDMI input is connected to the monitor able to see the picture.

Hi Sathish,

Would you be able to provide a visual representation of the two configurations you are mentioning here?

If I understand correctly,

- Source > 949 EVM > 948 > Display = no output (Is the 948 an EVM or just the chip?)

- Source > Display = Output

Are these the setups you are observing?

Hi Sathish,

Thanks for this info, I would like to collect some information about the display being used.

1. Is the touch display that is interfaced with the 948 different from the HDMI Display that you are connecting directly to the QCOM EVM?

2. How is the 948 interfaced with the display, are specifications of 100-Ohm LVDS output being met?
