TLIN1021-Q1: Checksum errors sometimes occur during LIN communication. How can I optimize the solution?

Part Number: TLIN1021-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR111

Hi Ti, a problem was discovered during production testing.
After the sensors were mass-produced, it was discovered that some sensors occasionally had checksum errors during the communication process, making the product unusable.

Here are the design features:

1. 12V modulated by XTR111

2.LIN communication rate 19200

3. As a sub-circuit of the sensor (communication module)

  • Daohai,

Thanks for bringing this to E2E. The schematics shared don't show any issues that would cause communication issues, so is it possible to share waveforms of when the checksum fails? This will give us an idea of what could be happening in case the communication is getting corrupted for some reason.

    Regards,

    Eric Hackett
