TUSB8041: Disable the battery charging function on DP/DM pins

Hi,  we just left that pin floating, as it has internal pull down, will it work?

But it seems floating it doesn't work for us. Our schematic like this:

If we remove the TUSB chip, the charging function work as expected. But if all in place and floating the baten pins, it won't charge the battery.

Any suggestions?

Are you physically share the DP/DM between the TPS25750 and the USB hub? 

Why not use the hub battery charging feature and then connect the hub over current indicator from the HUB to the TPS25750 through a GPIO configured as a fault input to disconnect power when necessary to meet the USB spec?

Yes, the two chips share the DP/DM wires physically. We use TPS25750  and BQ25792 together mainly for Type-C PD charging. Will your suggestions move the BC charging function to TUSB and remain the PD charging to BQ chip?

   You can not connect  DP/DM to TUSB Hub and TPS25750 together.

Is it possible to connect DP/DM to TUSB hub only? Will TPS25750 work well without DP/DM? That is to let TSUB handle the BC and TPS25750 handle the PD?

So for BC, the 5V power will still be routed out by TPS25750, or another power switch? If it's till routed out by TPS25750, then how to tell TPS25750 to switch on the VBUS when a USB2.0 device attached, as the DP/DM is routed to TUSB chip now?

   Hub can support  both data and BC1.2, then may just don't connect DP/DM to TPS25750 .

For now the VBUS is switched on/off by TPS25750's internal switch. Then if DP/DM routed to TUSB, how TPS know when to source the VBUS?

This is important for us. Because we need both of Type-C source/sink (our device need be charged using Type-C too). We need make sure that without DP/DM connected to TPS chip, our device can be charged by Type-C still.
