Does full buffer mode mean CMOS output?
I wasn't sure what state you were referring to.

When a pin is configured as GPIO and as output, then "full buffer" means that it is not in open-drain mode. (This setting has no effect for keyboard/GPIO inputs.)

Yes, "full buffer" means the same as "push/pull".
