LMH0074: How to set MUTEref pin in not using Carrier Detect

If the use case is not using carrier detect function, in other words, always ENabled. How customer set MUTEref pin? Should it be left floating?

What will happen when setting tied to GND? Is there no equalization whenever the length is?

Hi Hayashi,

Actually by increasing MUTEref voltage cable length gets reduced. So for example at maximum voltage on MUTEref cable reach is at the shortest length ~ 2m B1694A.

Sorry I don't understand well. Could you explain how LMH0074 operates with MUTEref = 0V?

Hi Hayashi,

MUTEref = 0V is not allowed. This is not valid. MUTEref voltage is between 1.6 to 2.9V.
