DS125BR401: EE-prom data not loaded properly

I have trouble to use the EE-prom for externally load data to the DS125BR401 circuits.

2 drivers one for each PCIe-gen3 interface.

But i don't seem to get the data downloaded to the chip.

All done is never released, not for the first nor the second, daisy-chained as example in SNLA228.

Need some help to evaluate the data and the design.

When used in SMB slave mode and programmed via the I2C bus externally, i get it to work, but not from the EE-prom.

Hi Jonas,

Does your EEPROM meet this requirement from the datasheet?

Can you share a schematic of your system? I'll review and see if the pin configurations and connections are all correct.

the memory is AT24C512B, i think that is ok, 1MHz compatible.

I would appreciate review of the schematic. Can i mail the schematic to you?

Hi Jonas,

I didn't see any issues with your schematic or hex file that could be causing EEPROM data to not load properly. I have generated 2 new hex files using our GUI SigCon Architect. One configures 2 repeaters with default settings, the other configures 2 repeaters with the settings provided in your hex file. Can you try using both of these hex files and let me know if either of them work?

In the mean time, I will discuss with my colleagues and see if we can come up with any other ideas on what might be going wrong here.
