DS90CR287: Serial output clock from SERIALIZER IC

Part Number: DS90CR287

Hey!

We have designed a custom board with a KINTEX 7 FPGA to transmit frames to a frame grabber through DS90CR287MTD serializer IC. While probing the clock at the output of the serializer IC, we observed that the clock was 7 times the input clock from the FPGA i.e., the clock signal from the FPGA to PIN31 (TXCLK_IN) was 25MHz and the output at PIN39 (TXCLKOUT+) and PIN40 (TXCLKOUT-) was observed to be 175MHz. Is this the correct output clock that we are observing? Can you explain the reason behind this behaviour?

Regards,

Cleatus
