Swapping DSI 83/84/85 FAQ
Before we begin here is a brief overview of each part and its capabilities:
SN65DSI83:
- SINGLE channel MIPI DSI to SINGLE channel LVDS Bridge
- DSI up to 4 lanes at 1 GBPS per lane
- Maximum recommended resolution 1920 × 1200 at 60 frames per second, with up to 24 bits per pixel
SN65DSI84:
- SINGLE channel MIPI DSI to DUAL channel LVDS Bridge
- DSI up to 4 lanes at 1 GBPS per lane
- Maximum recommended resolution 1920 x 1200 at 60 frames per second, with up to 24 bits per pixel
SN65DSI85:
- DUAL channel MIPI DSI to DUAL channel LVDS Bridge
- Each DSI channel up to 4 lanes at 1 GBPS per lane
- Maximum recommended resolution 2560 x 1600 at 60 frames per second, with up to 24 bits per pixel or 1920 × 1080 at an equivalent 120 fps with up to 24 bits per-pixel.
