Hi Expert,
May I know the reason why we recommend 220pF on LIN bus as a commander? While 1nf is recommended from other supplier's 1021 commander.
Thanks!

Ethan,
For rare cases it depends on the application, but 220 pF will always be acceptable for international standards. International standard ISO 17987-4 requires nominally 220 pF on each node, regardless of whether it is a commander or responder node. However, SAE J2602-1 does allow up to about 2.5 nF on only the commander node. Aside from that, placing 1 nF on the nodes would be a violation of the LIN spec.
In both standards, 220 pF is acceptable for every node.
Best,
Danny
