Hi,

I have related questions for THVD1550: Using THVD1550DR as alternate to DS3695AM/NOPB.

As per the suggestions i have used THVD1500 in the design. Which has signal rate of 500kbps. Then the noise present in the differential output signal got eliminated. As shown in below picture.

 

But  we have observed saturation in TX and RX signal that is probed at pin 4 (D) and pin 1 (R). As shown in below images.

     

Please help me to identify what is the problem here.

    I have a few questions to help narrow down potential issues:

    1. Can you please show the test setup and schematic of system you are working with?

    2. Can you please show the state of the differential bus (A and B) pins - its hard to diagnose "R" issues without seeing A and B pins. 

    3. Can you confirm the status of the /RE and DE pins in your application during test? 

    Essentially - the "D" input is TX - and it is a hi-z input; nothing looks practically wrong about that signal. It looks as if the "R" signal is going high about halfway through the datastream which could indicate issues on "A and B" or could indicate an issue with the control scheme. If you please answer the above questions it would help a lot in diagnosing the issue.
