TLK2711-SP: Operating and temperature range

To whom it may concern.

I´m currently working on a development that includes the TLK2711-SP and I ´m concerned that the operating range does not fulfill the requirements. Could someone please clarify which is the operating temperature range for the TLK2711HFG/EM? In the DS it only specifies 25ºC

Section 7.3 of the datasheet specifies the range from −55 °C to 125 °C. And the electrical characteristics are specified over the full range.

Where exactly did you find the range limited to 25 °C only?

I agree with Clemens here. The datasheet specifies the recommended operating case temperature is -55 to 125 C.

Yes, at the DS when it comes to the whole P/N it mentions -55 to 125º. But if you look at the page 26 when it mentions the different working conditions for the different packages it says that the TLK2711HFG/EM can work from 25º to 25º which seems weird (and that´s the one I would need in my design).

The TLK2711HFG/EM is marked with "EVAL ONLY" because it is intended for engineering evaluation only. It is processed to a noncompliant flow, and is not suitable for qualification, production, radiation testing or flight use. Therefore, it is not warranted for performance over the full MIL specified temperature range of –55 °C to 125 °C or operating life.

For real usage, you would buy the 5962-0522101VXC.
