Hello,
It would be best to go through each device's datasheet to understand the key differences. One of the first things to note between the -K and -C is a difference is PHY ID (Reg 0x3).

Gerome
Hi,
For xtal guidance, please check in with xtal vendor for appropriate load capacitor value for component and PHY.
In addition, the load cap is actually 36pF in the reference design.
Sincerely,
Gerome
Hello,
It is best to check with the xtal vendor for this as it is strongly dependent on the xtal. I noticed for this xtal that the load cap typical is 8pF, while the theoretical load cap would be 24pF.
Sincerely,
Gerome
