Are the following conditions in the EVM user guide (especially #1 and #2) mandatory requirements?

If it is not mandatory, my customer would like to skip it.

    I can't see these details in the EVM user's guide. Can you please show me where is that mentioned?

    But yes, these are required to guarantee best performance of the device and avoiding unnecessary reflections/ attenuations and cross-talking.
