Hi All,
TCA6424A INT is active low open drain, if we don't want interrupt function, should we leave pin NC or pull low?
Thanks.
Hi Ladisch,
Just to double check if we pull it up , isnt't that mean we have devuce support interrupt function? Currently, we do not want interrupt function, thanks a lot.
"The INT output has an open-drain structure and requires pullup resistor to VCCP or VCCI depending on the application. If the INT signal is connected back to the processor that provides the SCL signal to the TCA6424A then the INT pin has to be connected to VCCI. If not, the INT pin can be connected to VCCP."
The /INT pin is an output; the TCA6424A itself does not care whether you have a pull-up or not. If you want to use it, then you need a pull-up to get a defined high-level voltage.
