TUSB8043A: I2C HID Example/Control Software

Hello -

I am trying to interface with the TUSB8043A and an on-board microcontroller by using the I2C HID device inside of the TUSB8043A.

Are there any examples on how this might be done with a Windows machine? Are there any pieces of software available from TI that aids in doing this?

TUSB8043 provides an HID interface that can be easily used to control the I2C master on the device while the USB Hub remains functional.
Details on how to use the USB HID to I2C interface are available on the TUSB8043 datasheet at section 8.3.3 - www.ti.com/.../detailed-description.

We have some USB Hub HID example code using Linux, but there is no support for this code as the original creator is no longer with our group. I can send it to you in a private message if you are interested.

If you can also please send me the TUSB8043A EEPROM Programming tool that I see mention of then that'd be great.
