Hi, 

Customer would like to know which mechanism that BMC can do by setting I2C or SMbus command and how to do it. Thank you.

  1. Enable/disable entire USB hub device TUSB8042A?
  2. Power Enable/disable the USB ports individually?

    Randy;

        for Q1:  it can't  enableing /disableing entire hub with I2C or SMbus, but you can do it with external control on either GRSTz or USB_VBus pin.

        for Q2:  you can control hub is power switching on or off, it is ganged mode or individual mode on register 0x05h with I2C or SMbus, but you can not control which port to on or off with I2C or SMbus.
