We have products using both TSB82AF15-EP (PCIe-based) and TSB12LV26-EP (PCI-based) LLCs for 1394 comms, and I am working on a trade between incorporating one of these into a new product, where design against obsolescence is key (long production run planned). I am looking to understand what support for these 1394 link layer controllers looks like long term. What is the planned EOL date for these products? Are there product road maps for equivalents/replacements in the future? I am open to setting up a call to discuss if preferred over a forum discussion.
