We are using DS90UB960-Q1 n our design. The layout guideline says ". Minimize intra-pair and inter-pair length mismatch within a single CSI-2 TX Port (recommended <= 5 mils)."
Our layout team is not able to achieve this. The best they can achieve is 250mils.
How do I calculate the worst mismatch allowed
May I know is this(250mil mismatch) fine.
Do we able to run the system with this(250 mil mismatch)/Or is there any way to run the system with this mismatch

Hello Hari,
the Inter-pair (pair-to-pair for example Data to CLK pairs) allowable length difference can be exactly calculated as per the MIPI D-PHY specifications.
The Intra-pair (P to N) length should be within +/-5 mils.
If you can't fulfill these requirements, you may face major effects on your high-speed data transmitted, such as Jitter, common-mode-noise causing serious EMI problems.

as stated above, this formula is valid for rates < 1.5Gbps. For higher than that you need to refer to table 30.
The 5mils we drived it from our simulations and validation data to have the best performance.
