TCAN1145-Q1: Supply Leakage Paths

Part Number: TCAN1145-Q1

Hello,

I'd like to know if there is an internal current leakage path between VCC and VIO pins of TCAN1145-Q1.

  • Whether a current runs internally through the VCC pin from the VIO pin when the VIO pin is powered but the VCC pin is not.
  • Whether a current runs internally through the VIO pin from the VCC pin when the VCC is powered but the VIO is not.

Best regards,
Shinichi Yokota

  • Yokota-san,

One of our experts should get back to you by end of business tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

    Best,

    Danny

  • Hi Yokota-san,

The Vcc and Vio supplies are different voltage domains in the device and do not have any direct connections or current paths between them. While the state of one supply condition may have minimal impact on the current draw of another due to the state of some internal level translators, these impacts are minimal and are not considered direct leakage paths.

Do you know what has led the customer to ask about this? Are they currently observing some unexpected leakage on either of these supplies?

    Regards,
