Hope you are doing well!!
In recent times, we had bought the TCAN1162 Evaluation module CAN Transceiver for testing purpose. To implement, the same Transceiver in the upcoming pipeline projects. While testing, we came across the below observations, please check and confirm whether we are proceeding with the correct manner. Let us know, if we need to change anything
Working Mode: V-BAT supply voltage from the external supply-12V
VIO taken from the internal logic at 3V3 level by connecting the jumper J8 across the VIO and LDO3
Jumper Connections:
J6 placed in their position.--Fault indication LED
J9 placed in their position.--Pull up for sleep mode
J12 removed and we placed 120E externally at the receiver node at the cable
J15 is in their position-Connecting 121E across the CAN_H and CAN_L.
J14 is in their position-- INH Pin connection
Case1: We tried to communicate it through external interface and we are clearly observing the RXD pulse at the RXD Pin for the equivalent CAN_H and CAN_L
Case2: We are driving from external uC at the TXD pin(3V3 logic level) of the CAN Transceiver and we are not getting the proper response at the CAN_H and CAN_L.
We are trying to debug the same to ensure proper communication at the CAN Transceiver. So, I request you to help us on solving this issues.
