TUSB9261: Update firmware in UFI mode

Hi Meziane,

We don't have software support for this device.  As you mentioned, there is an option to enable the HID and Mass Storage interface in Windows with the Flashburner.

"The user guide of the TI flashburner running on windows mentions in §3.2 that there are some SCSI commands that can do the same job as in HID mode. I tried these commands with firmware versions 0.99 and 1.06 and it does not work."

There is not an example of TUSB9261 update in SCSI mode, but the instructions in the user's guide should still work.  Can you elaborate on how it's not working?

Also, it might be helpful to have the firmware source code.  It is available by request on the TUSB9261 product page.  It has the SCSI.c file which may be helpful here.

How I processed : I elaborated commands based on the template used for all other UFI commands in my project, but with the opcodes for the SCSI mode given in the flashburner user guide. I obtained the following results : 

- With Firmware v0.99 : the USB stack returns usb_error for all opcodes unless Reset, but RESET is not working.

- With firmware v1.06 : all commands seem to be accepted, but not working.

I am going to try to get the firmware source code on the product page as you suggested, hoping it will help me.

Thank you for your responses. My understanding is that we are not referenced as customers to the Customers Support although we are provided with boards equipped with TUSB9261. As you suggested I will try to contact the Customer Support Center to have more information.
