I am considering communication using SMBus with the MASTER and SLAVE separated by about 1m.
Is there any problem with the usage below?
① Install I2C Bus Repeater TCA9517A on both sides of MASTER and SLAVE. (Direct connection)
②The power supplies (VCCA, VCCB) of TCA9517A are all common and 3.3V is supplied from the MASTER side.
③Since the two SLAVEs have the same SLAVE address, communication is switched using the EN terminal on the master side (left side).
④Only the MASTER side is switched, and the SLAVE side TCA9517A is always in the Active state (EN pin is fixed at High)
