Hellow.
I want to convert Dispalyport (v1.2) output through xilinx's zynq device to an HDMI signal.
I am wondering if I can use SN65DP159 as shown below to convert to HDMI.
Zynq's Displayport version is 1.2a and only uses 2 lanes.

Thanks

Hi,
DP159 only support DP++ to HDMI passive level shifter. For DP to HDMI, you would need an active DP to HDMI protocol converter. But please double check with Xilinx on whether the active converter has been tested with the Xilinx FPGA per the link I was able to find from Xilinx, https://support.xilinx.com/s/article/71774?language=en_US.
Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. Please recommend the active DP to HDMI protocol converter made by TI.
Thanks

TI does not have a DP to HDMI active protocol converter.
But please refer to MCDP5200 as one possible choice, https://www.kinet-ic.com/mcdp5200/, or Parade PS186 as another solution, https://www.paradetech.com/products/ps186/.
Thanks
