Part Number: DS110DF111
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS100DF410, , DS110DF410, DS125DF410, DS125DF111

Hello

I can use SMBus read register.

I refer to "DS110DF111, DS125DF111, DS100DF410, DS110DF410,and DS125DF410 Programming Guide"

2.4.1 Front-Port Ingress (Module-to-Host)
2.4.2 Front-Port Egress (Host-to-Module)
2.4.3 Backplane and Cable
Table 20. Set Data Rate(DS125DF410 as example)

and use 10G,SFP device connection

but I tried several ways, Reg_0x54[7] always 0

can you help me, how to setting register,

the following is channel register status.

  • Hi,

Sorry if these are basic questions, but can you confirm the following?

    1. Is there a valid signal on the RX pins?
    2. Have you checked both channel register sets?
    3. Is there a valid reference clock signal on the REFCLK_IN pin?

Typically we expect register 0x54[7] will be 1 when there is any signal on the channel input, regardless of data rate configuration.

    Best,

    Lucas

  • Yes ,We check again about H/W design.

    Found some design deficiencies.

Anyway, now 0x54[7] can check the signal.

    thank you!!

and next step, I need to set the speed to support 1G SFP, and try Loop back function.

If I find other problems, please help me again.thank!!

  • Hi Paddy,

Great, I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue. I'll be closing this thread, if any new issues come up don't hesitate to open a new E2E thread.

    Best,

    Lucas
