Hi team,

My customer have question for tR/tF(RGMII).

In datasheet, Max tR/tF value is 1.2ns. Is this 100Base-T1 standard value?

Is there possibility that the tR/tF of the RGMII RXC (PHY sent to SoC) exceed this value with a PHY and SoC connected?

Hi Youhei,

100base-T1 does not specify a maximum. Yes, this value can exceed 1.2 ns if the load capacitance on board is high

What is rise/fall time they are measuring and how are the measuring it?

Hi Melissa,

Understood. They measured PHY output signal rise/fall and time>1.2ns. This depends on SoC side, so I think this issue can be closed.

Just to confirm, this datasheet value is satisfied under 100-base T1 communication?
