DS280MB810: What is channel-to-channel intrapair skew?

Hi TI,

The datasheet claims typical channel-to-channel latency difference of <14 ps:

Is my understanding correct that that means if I have a signal on RX0, that if I would propagate that signal either to TX0 or TX1, the deterministic latency difference between them is typically <14 ps?

Can any unofficial indicators be given on the maximum of this value?

Hi Jan,

The input-to-output latency is typically 100 ps, regardless of if cross-point is enabled or not. Since the channel-to-channel interpair skew spec is <14 ps, then the propagation delay difference between RX0 --> TX0 transmission and RX0 --> TX1 transmission can be up to 14 ps.
