SN65DP159: Can you suggest Retimer that support HDMI2.1 specification?

Hi team,

My customer asked for solution which can support HDMI2.1 specification.

I double checked SN65DP159 datasheet but it just supports HDMI2.0b only.

So could you comment right solution?

Customer will use Intel ALDER laks-S platform.

Hello, Paul,

What is the application and who is the customer? Does the application need a retimer or would a redriver be sufficient? Is this a source side or sink side application?

We have the TDP1204 and TMDS1204 that both support HDMI 2.1. The TDP1204 is optimized for source side applications and the TMDS1204 is optimized for the sink side applications.

The end customer is Vecow and application should be edge computing.

But in the datasheet, it only show supported HDMI2.0b, can we said we can support HDMI2.1?

My customer plan to design TDP1204 but they need reference schematic for checking.

I already share user guide circuit to them but it seems not good for reference because it can't use search function in pdf file.

Please send real schematic to me.
