DP83849IFVS-EVK: Fiber optic connector cable issue

I'm trying to replace the Fx connector.. because of the above mentioned issue..

If you can see in page number 20 of the given link they have been connected DP83849IFVSEVK to some other device 

Can i get that device info/documents please ??

I purchased DP83849EVK only, but i just wanna know which IC they have implemented in that link partner 

1. Also 2nd thing the fx cable which they have mentioned it in the evk datasheet 62.5/125 cable not working with that connector 

2. Luckily I observed that the connector is working with a single mode cable which is 9/125 um cable.. I was just wondering if I know how it is working with this cable and not working with the one which is mentioned in the evk datasheet

I understand that we have less support for this, but please try to help me in this part

I'm sorry but I'm unable to find information on the other board. The cable/connector issue you are facing isn't dependent on the link-partner.

yeah! but i'm still wondering the cables(62.5/125um OM1) which they have mentioned in the datasheet are not working and 9/125 um single mode cable is working

one last doubt is, should we need both sides same connector ???

(i faced a weird incident! communication is happening when any one side of the cable connector should be placed like in the half way of the connector either my EVK side half way inserted and fully inserted in the link partner side or link partner side half way inserted and EVK side fully inserted.. )

Hi Tex,

I understand your issue, but I am unable to assist further. The link partner doesn't need to have the same connector. Using different boards I have been able to link up through fiber where each board had a different fiber module.
