Unfortunately no, there is no way to use 5V directly with the TCAN4550-Q1 because there is an internal 5V LDO that requires at least 5.5V on VSUP. There is not a way to bypass this internal LDO and directly supply an external 5V supply. You would likely need to use a Boost Converter to generate a VSUP supply voltage greater than 5.5V to prevent the TCAN4550 from seeing an under-voltage condition and entering a protected operating mode.
